Steve MacTavish is President and Founder of MacTavish Financial, an independent financial services firm. Steve is an LPL Financial Advisor with more than 25 years of experience. He understands the importance of proper planning in order for a client to obtain financial success. Because he is independent, he is not tied to any particular family of funds or investment products.
He enjoys working with people who’ve spent their careers taking care of others.
Educators. Firefighters. Police officers. Healthcare workers. At some point the financial picture gets complicated and it feels like a lot to figure out on your own.
He works with pre-retirees and retirees who want to understand their finances clearly and feel good about where things are headed. You need a clear picture of your situation and a plan for staying on course.
Steve's wife is a retired teacher, and he's worked with first responders and healthcare professionals for years. He understands how these careers work and what the real decisions look like as retirement gets closer.
But his respect for healthcare workers goes deeper than that.
Years ago, the family went through a significant medical journey with their daughter that involved multiple surgeries and a lot of time in hospitals. The healthcare providers who cared for her along the way left a lasting impression on his wife and him. These are people who show up every day and change lives. He does not take that lightly.
Building a successful client/advisor relationship is important to Steve and vital to the planning process. Once the financial plan is complete, it must be monitored and updated regularly. Life events happen so adjustments to the plan are inevitable.
Steve is a skilled financial professional. He holds his Series 7 and 66 Licenses through LPL Financial. He also holds Life, Health and Long Term Care licenses in several states.
