Steve MacTavish is President and Founder of MacTavish Financial, an independent financial services firm. Steve is an LPL Financial Advisor with more than 20 years of experience. He understands the importance of proper planning in order for a client to obtain financial success. Because he is independent, he is not tied to any particular family of funds or investment products.
His primary focus is putting custom financial plans in place for each client. The plan must start with a thorough review of the client’s financial position. Once the client situation is known, financial objectives and goals are defined. At this time, a thorough evaluation of this data is completed which leads to a strategy to help pursue client goals. These recommendations take into consideration the following; client investment risk tolerance, protection from the effects of premature death or disability of a client, tax exposure, unexpected expenses, and inflation. Each plan is unique, as no two clients are the same.
Building a successful client/advisor relationship is important to Steve and vital to the planning process. Once the financial plan is complete, it must be monitored and updated regularly. Life events happen so adjustments to the plan are inevitable.
Steve works to build lifetime relationships with his clients. He meets regularly with them to discuss their investments as well as keep up with their lives. Integrity and trust are something that is earned. Steve does not take this lightly so every recommendation he makes and every strategy he offers is always in the best interest of his clients. He will always maintain a strong sense of accountability to each client.
